Alongside our Gallery 2 exhibition Practice in Place, artists from our Youth Advisory Panel will be running a series of free creative activities!

CLAY MAKING WORKSHOP
SATURDAY 26 OCTOBER, 1-3PM

 

Join us artist Iris Murray on Saturday 26 October, 1-3pm in our Learning Room for a free clay making workshop! We will be making sculptural tea light holders, designed to make light travel through them interesting ways.

 

This session is for adults and young people 13 +

 

All materials will be provided.

 

Places are limited and pre-booking is essential.

The Learning Room is located on our first floor. Unfortunately, we do not have disabled access to this floor.

INKY FACES WORKSHOP
SATURDAY 9 NOVEMBER, 10AM-12PM

 

Join artist Niamh O’Dobhain on Saturday 9 November, 10am-12pm for a free drop-in ink drawing workshop. Experiment with creating loose inky faces from your imagination.

 

This activity is for young and old alike! Children need to be supervised at all times and aged 5 +

 

All materials will be provided.

 

Feel free to pop in for 10 minutes, or stay for a few hours.

BROOCH MAKING WORKSHOP
SATURDAY 16 NOVEMBER, 1-3PM

 

Join local designer Rosie Merriman on Saturday 16 November, 1pm-3pm for a free drop-in brooch making workshop. Learn how to applique, embroider and bead your own statement piece to wear with pride!

 

This activity is for young and old alike! Children need to be supervised at all times and aged 5 +

 

All materials will be provided.
