Our programme of exhibitions and showcases aim to support and inspire artists and audiences, sharing the work of visual artists and makers from across Wales, the UK and internationally. This includes leading and emerging creatives, with specific opportunities for nurturing new voices.

With work shared throughout our building, in our gallery spaces, foyer, café and meeting rooms, we aim to create a diverse programme that celebrates visual arts and craft.

We also have a programme of Touring Exhibitions with partner galleries, and a Permanent Collection, which we have been building for 55 years.

Kathleen Murphy is a Ross-on-Wye based maker who works, with a single needle as her tool, to draw, embellish, and construct characters inspired by folk culture, fairy tales and a fascination with the wooded landscape.

Art in the Café

Beth Wilks is a teacher and visual artist who creates papercuts by hand. Using a scalpel, she enjoys making intricate and detailed pieces inspired by fragments of places, words, music, and pop culture, drawing on nostalgia and the ridiculous.
