Our programme of exhibitions and showcases aim to support and inspire artists and audiences, sharing the work of visual artists and makers from across Wales, the UK and internationally. This includes leading and emerging creatives, with specific opportunities for nurturing new voices.

With work shared throughout our building, in our gallery spaces, foyer, café and meeting rooms, we aim to create a diverse programme that celebrates visual arts and craft.

We also have a programme of Touring Exhibitions with partner galleries, and a Permanent Collection, which we have been building for 55 years.

Art in the Café

An exhibition of posters from our archive that looks back on 60 years of promoting art! With the evolution in design trends and technology (along with varying budgets!) this selection shows some real treasures alongside a few strange design choices.

With posters from the cut and stick and letterpress era, to clip art and digital design, this selection is a fun look back at past exhibitions.

This is part of Llantarnam Grange 60, a year-long celebration of 60 years of creativity in Cwmbran. Funded by the Colwinston Charitable Trust.

Ceramic Showcase

A group showcase by third year students from Cardiff School of Art and Design (CSAD) BA Ceramics Course, displaying the range of technical processes and techniques that will inform their final degree show.

From self-sourcing clay and devising glazes through triaxle and linear blends, to illustrative surface application, hand construction, throwing, Soda, Raku, reduction and electric firing, to an innovative approach to casting from coffee grounds!
