Exhibition Opening + Activities

EXHIBITION OPENING + ACTIVITIES
31 MAY, 11AM-4PM

For the opening of the new exhibitions, Agimat, at Llantarnam Grange, and Signal, at Big Pit National Coal Mining Museum, we will be celebrating the launch of artist Sadia Pineda Hameed’s new work with talks, tours, and activities!

Sadia has been working with Llantarnam Grange and Big Pit National Coal Mining Museum over the past year, researching elements of the collection to disrupt colonial legacies.

This event and exhibitions are part of Perspective(s), an ambitious Welsh arts programme, that brings together seven artists with all seven Amgueddfa Cymru – Museum Wales sites and with seven different visual arts organisations nationwide.
