Join poet and writer Clare Potter on Thursday 18 July at either 10am-12pm or 1-3pm for Writing and Other Dreams, a writing workshop inspired by our current exhibition Dylan Thomas and Other Dreams by illustrator Bonnie Hawkins’.
Bonnie’s detailed pencil drawings were inspired by Dylan Thomas’ poetic Under Milk Wood. Together, we will find inspiration in these images and respond to their dream-like quality in our writing.
Reflect in our calm gallery surrounded by her characters with their rich and fantastic details, we will go on voyages of our imaginations, creating our own people and places.
This activity is for adults with any or no experience of writing, whether you write often or you are trying something new. The aim is to enjoy the process and inspire one another!
The session will take place downstairs in Gallery 1, surrounded by Bonnie’s exhibition.
Please note that the morning and afternoon session are the same, so select one slot when booking.
