GALLERY 2
PERSIAN TOUR – SAHAR SAKI
1 MARCH – 17 MAY
An immersive exhibition by international artist Sahar Saki, that transforms the gallery in a joyous celebration of Persian cultural heritage.
Llantarnam Grange is the first stop on Sahar’s Persian Tour, which will evolve over the year with four multi-sensory exhibitions across South Wales.

Through painting, calligraphy, poetry and literature, Sahar shapes spaces to transport us into a world inspired by her Iranian culture heritage. Words are often the foundation of her work, painting poetry and calligraphy onto walls, ceilings, or floors with large brushes. Abstract painting and traditional patterns add texture and layers to these environments, merging traditional Persian elements with contemporary art forms.
Persian Tour is more than an exhibition: it is a celebration, a journey, and a meeting place for cultures.
There will be an opening in the gallery on Saturday 1 March, 12-2pm, and the exhibition will run until the 17 May.
Before the opening, Sahar will be giving a short Artist Talk at 11.30am. This talk is free and there is no need to book.
ACTIVITIES
Throughout the exhibition, Sahar will be running a series of workshops, activities and a celebration for Nowruz (Persian New Year) on Friday 21 March. More information coming soon.
