Llantarnam Grange is a Victorian manor house which offers a unique and distinctive venue, with original features and beautiful artwork on display.
Conveniently in the centre of Cwmbran town, we provide the perfect place for any private event, meeting, or party.
Room Hire Rates
£9.50 per hour for small charities/community groups
£12.50 per hour for businesses/large charities, or organisations
Our rooms are available to hire Monday – Saturday from 9am-4pm.
Equipment
£10.00 – Hire of TV, flipchart, projector and screen
All our rooms include free Wi-Fi. We can provide a flipchart, a TV screen in the Selway / Learning Room, and a projector and screen in the Zobole Room, at an added cost.
Instructions on how to connect to the projector and TV are provided.
Catering
We can provide catering through our in-house café’s basic or signature buffet menu, with optional extras at an additional cost, or you can order from our Seasonal Menu. A minimum of 48 hours’ notice is required.
Our in-house Café is open 9.30 – 3.30, with last food orders at 2.30pm.
Cancellation
If you no longer wish to hire a room, please get in touch to cancel. Please note that cancellations within 2 weeks of your booking will be charged 50% of your total booking fee, and cancellations within 1 week will be charged 100% of your booking fee.
This will include any catering charges.
Accessibility
Please note that due to the historical nature of our building, we currently do not have disabled access to our rooms to hire on the first floor.

Our Rooms
Selway Room
Selway Room
Our Selway Room, located on our first floor, features exclusively the work of Welsh artist John Selway (1938-2017).
This comfortable yet spacious room can hold up to 12 people boardroom style or up to 24 lecture style with our cushioned folding chairs.
We can provide a flipchart and TV screen at an added cost.
*There is no charge for this room when it is being used only for refreshments and/or a buffet.

Zobole Room
Zobole Room
Our Zobole Room, located on our split-level first floor, features several artworks from our permanent collection, including a piece by Welsh painter Ernest Zobole (1927-1999), who the room was named after.
This room can hold up to 20 people boardroom style or up to 35 people in a lecture style with our cushioned folding chairs.
There is also a hidden sink which makes it suitable for some creative activities, however, our Learning Room is better suited for arts and craft activities.
We can provide a flipchart, a projector and screen at an added cost.
Learning Room
Learning Room
Our Learning Room, located on our first floor, is the perfect space for running your own art and craft workshops or groups.
There are three large tables which can be put together or kept separate and will fit up to 30 people, depending on how you’d like to use the room. Both the tables and the floor are wipeable, and we have two sinks suitable for washing tools and hands.
We can provide a flipchart and TV screen at an added cost.
