EASTER ACTIVITIES

This Easter we are running a series of creative activities for adults, young people, families, and children aged 5+

YOUNG PEOPLE’S CREATE SESSIONS
26 MARCH + 2 APRIL

 

Join us on 26 March and 2 April for a free Create Session for young people aged 8-13.

 

Tuesday 26 March – Collage Streets
Come along to tear, layer and stick to create collage houses and streets.

 

Tuesday 2 April – Applique Textile Portraits
Explore different fabrics and stitching to create textile portraits.

 

These session will take place between 10am-12pm

FAMILY SESSIONS
26 MARCH + 2 APRIL

 

Join us on 26 March and 2 April from 1-3pm for free creative Family sessions.

 

Tuesday 26 March – Miniature Homes
Come along and make tiny cardboard houses inspired by the work of artist Betty Pepper.

 

Tuesday 2 April – Paint and Stitch
Explore painting and stitching on paper.

 

These session will take place between 1-3pm

MINDFUL MAKING
27 MARCH + 3 APRIL

 

Join us on Wednesday 27 March and 3 April, 10am-12pm and 1–3pm for a free drop-in creative mindfulness activity in our downstairs galleries.

 

Wednesday 27 March

10am-12pm
We will be creating drawn and collage birds inspired by our current Gallery 2 exhibition you have already survived by artist gobscure.

1-3pm
We will be creating 3D paper flowers also inspired by the current exhibition.

 

Wednesday 3 April

10am-12pm and 1–3pm
We will be exploring mark making with stich and creating abstract embroidery.

 

Come along to unwind and make at your own speed in a calm, relaxing space.

 

These activities are for adults and young people aged 16+ who wish to explore their creativity in a comfortable and artistic setting.

 

All materials will be provided.

 

Feel free to pop in for 10 minutes, or stay for a few hours.
