PHOTOGRAPHY CRIT: MOHAMED HASSAN

Join documentary photographer Mohamed Hassan and our Exhibitions Officer, Savanna Dumelow for small group photography crits.
These sessions are aimed at contemporary, fine art, and experimental photographers who would like feedback on their work, curatorial advice, to be inspired, and learn from others.
Please bring examples of your photography to share.
Mohamed Hassan is a Welsh-Egyptian photographer who has been living and working in Pembrokeshire since 2007. He holds a 1st class honours degree in Photography and has recently finish an MA in Documentary Photography at the University of South Wales. His work has been exhibited throughout Wales at Glynn Vivian Art Gallery, Ffotogallery, Mission Gallery, the National Waterfront Museum, Oriel Davies Gallery, and at the National Portrait Gallery in London. Internationally, he has exhibited in the touring exhibition ‘Facing Britain’ and has had solo exhibitions in Cairo in his home country.
Savanna Dumelow is our Exhibitions Officers who has been working at Llantarnam Grange since 2018. Trained as a photographer, Savanna studied Photography at the University of South Wales and often experiments with alternative processes such as Scanography. She has exhibited work with Diffusion Festival, Shutter Hub, and participated in the group exhibition ‘Ode to Anna’ with Phrame Collective at Llantarnam Grange in 2021, which looked back on the cyanotypes of botanist and artist Anna Atkins.
Two sessions will take place, please select a timeslot when booking.
